Active for Autism 5k & Kids dash

Race day:
Join us in person on Sunday, April 19th, in Alexandria, VA, on Main Line Blvd. near George Washington Middle School
for a fun, family-friendly event on a flat, fast, out-and-back course!

8:00 a.m. - 5K Start
9:15 a.m. - Kids Dash Start

REGISTRATION:
In-person 5K: In-person 1/4 mile Kids Dash:               
$30: January 1 - 31
$35: February 1 - 28

$40: March 1 - 31
$45: April 1 - 16*

*Online in-person registration will close on April 16th,
but race-day registration is available.

Register by March 19th to ensure your shirt size is guaranteed. Online registration for the in-person race will close on Thursday, April 16th, at noon EST.  Participants can register on race morning.

Most importantly, you’re showing your dedication to supporting the autism community. Your $200 donation can provide the Kit for Kids Peer Education program to multiple elementary and middle school classrooms, fostering acceptance of autistic classmates.

Are you looking for a fun way to get friends and family involved?  Whether you're running in-person or virtually, you can create a 5K team when registering or join an existing team by logging into your account and clicking on 'create or join a team' from your dashboard.  Once you're on a team, encourage family and friends to register and join!  Both in-person and virtual participants can be on the same team.  Everyone on the top 2 fundraising teams will receive a special OAR swag item! 

​Packet pick-up:
Packet pick-up for all in-person participants will take place on Saturday, April 18th, at the Arlington Potomac River Running store from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  It will also be available on race morning from 7:00 am to 7:30 am.
