All proceeds from the Active for Autism 5K & Kids Dash will advance OAR's mission of applying research to the challenges of autism. Our goal is to raise $60,000, enough to help fund a new OAR research study and support OAR’s mission to apply research to the challenges of autism.  

My son is getting ready to transition to high school, and he will require extra support as he navigates the last level of K-12 education. I am raising money for this 5K and this organization because I believe in their mission. Autism support doesn't stop when they graduate high school. Children like mine need supports in place when they are adults as well. Any donations you are able to give will help my own child and others like him to be a productive member of society as they age out of public school.
