Virtual Mike Caesar 5k for Autism
OCtober 3rd - 12th       -        Anywhere

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic there are many things to be grateful for and the ability to walk, jog, run or ride any distance is one of them. While we can’t run together in a race, we want to continue to motivate you to keep moving and challenge yourself to a virtual race.

The Virtual Mike Caesar 5k for Autism event is a virtual race that can be run, walked, cycled, swam at your own pace, in your own time, from wherever you are! Ideally it would be on a course right out your front door, inside your home on a treadmill/trainer, or starting at a location near to you.

 
How it works:
  • Sign Up!
    • Register online for the Virtual Mike Caesar 5k for Autism 
    • You may register as an individual, or have a little fun and create a team! 
  • Complete Your Virtual Race
    • Pick the course you want to race and complete your Virtual Mike Caesar 5k for Autism between October 3rd and October 12th.
  • Take A Finish Line Photo
    • We want to see you at the finish line! Take a selfie when you finish your distance. Post to social media and hashtag your photo #MC5KforAutism and #RUNFORAUTISM.
  • Submit Your Results
    • All Virtual 5K participants who complete their 5K and send or post a photo of their virtual race by October 15th will be listed in the 2020 virtual runner results.
  • Have Fun!

  • Optional: Fundraise for Prizes
    • ​Take your support one step further and set up a fundraiser. 
    • All Virtual 5K fundraisers are eligible for fundraising prizes!
    • Separate prizes are available for top individual fundraisers and the top team fundraisers.

All participants who register for the Virtual Race by September 20th will have their race packet sent to them before Saturday, October 3rd.  Any participant who registers after September 20th might not receive their race packet before the event.  To guarantee your race t-shirt size, participants must register for the Virtual Race by September 20th.
 

*Registration fee counts toward $100 fundraising minimum for water bottle!
 


FUNDRAISING:
It's a win-win! Run, win great prizes, and help us fund graduate research studies!   Whether you are running, walking or just cheering others on, you can fundraise to support OAR.  You can also form a team.
Setting up your fundraiser is quick and easy.
  • Click on Register, then login
  • Select your fundraising option – you can participate and fundraise, or just set up a fundraiser.
  • Complete the online registration. 
  • Edit your fundraising page and begin sharing!
 
All fundraisers are eligible for winning our top prizes.  Every fundraiser who raises at least $100 will receive a branded water bottle.
