The 2022 Active for Autism Virtual 5K & Kids Dash will be a virtual event!
Join us during Autism Acceptance Month for a great event! The Active for Autism Virtual 5K & Kids Dash will take place during the moth of April. This virtual event can be run, walked, cycled, swam at your own pace, in your own time, from wherever you are! Ideally, it would be on a course near your front door, inside your home on a treadmill/trainer, or get creative and find a new, fun course to race.

How it works:
- Complete Your Virtual Race
- Pick the course you want to race and complete your Active for Autism Virtual 5K and/or Kids Dash between April 1st and April 30th.
- Take A Finish Line Photo
- We want to see you at the finish line! Take a selfie when you finish your distance. Post to social media, tag @runforautism and use the hashtags #ActiveForAutism5K and #RUNFORAUTISM.
- Submit Your Results
- All Active for Autism Virtual 5K & Kids Dash participants who complete their race and submit their results by April 30th will be listed in the 2022 virtual runner results.
Take your support one step further and
set up a fundraiser for OAR. All virtual 5K fundraisers are eligible for fundraising prizes!
Looking for a fun way to get friends and family involved? Whether you're running in-person or virtually you can create a 5K team when registering or you join an existing team by
logging in to your account and clicking on 'create or join a team' from your dashboard. Once you're on a team encourage family and friends to register and join! Both in-person and virtual participants can be on a team together.
Everyone on the top 2 fundraising teams will receive a special OAR swag item!

All participants who register for the virtual race by March 15th will have their race packet sent to them before April 1st. Any virtual participant who registers after March 15th for the virtual event might not receive their race packet by April 1st.
FUNDRAISING:
Support autism research and win great prizes! Whether you are running, walking, cycling, swimming, or just cheering others on you can fundraise to support OAR. Setting up your fundraiser is quick and easy.
- Click on Register, then log in.
- Select your fundraising option – you can participate and fundraise, or just set up a fundraiser.
- Complete the online registration.
- Edit your fundraising page and begin sharing!
All fundraisers are eligible for winning our
top prizes.
Anyone who fundraises or donates at least $100 will receive a special OAR swag item that will be announced soon.
Everyone on the top two fundraising teams will receive an OAR swag item.
