I am running the 2022 NYC marathon to raise money for the Run for Autism team. Please help me support kids and families with autism by donating to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Organization for Autism Research's great cause!

1 in 44 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. By joining the RUN FOR AUTISM team, you’re supporting OAR’s mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and their families today.

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$40,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.

We recently took a family trip to Costa Rica. Traveling can be a special challenge for neurodivergent people. Loud sounds, new surroundings. While Will struggled at times, he absolutely flourished too. Like slurping juice straight from a fresh orange. And playing on the beach. Some wondered about his headphones or gave a quizzical look when he didn’t respond to kind questions from strangers. This is why autism awareness is so important. To support kids (and adults) as they find a voice of their own whatever that looks like for them. We are so lucky to have the support that we do from friends and family. Run for Autism helps bring support to the families and kids that need it most. Thank you for your donations.

Will is 5 years old. Where did the time go? He is our inspiration for raising money for autistic kids and their families. He has taught us how to see life and the world in a whole new way. We love you to the moon and back.

My Mother's Day gift from Will. Can't get enough of that smile. Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing moms. Thank you so much to those that have donated so far. We are over 2/3rds of the way to our goal!

Our youngest son Will has autism. He is the reason why this charity means so much to us. Here he is smiling mid chat with dad. Thank you for donating to help other families and kids with autism like Will.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to support Run for Autism so far. Since Monday, we are over halfway to our goal! I want to personally thank each and every one of you for donating or sharing the fundraiser with friends. And of course there’s still plenty of time left to add your support. Thank you all for all that you do. We love you.

Our personal autism hero is our youngest son, Will.
