I'm looking forward to running my first full marathon in the great city of Chicago! In 2021, I completed my first half marathon and also visited Chicago for vacation. I saw a sign for the marathon while I was there and knew I had to honor the Chicago motto of "I will" and decided to enter the 2022 race.
General registration for the race was closed, so I decided to sign up through a charity commitment which also secures my spot in the race! I'll be running in support of the Organization for Autism Research and helping with a fundraising campaign leading up to the race. This is a great cause and helps contribute to an often underfunded research area.
