In 2022, I ran the New York City Marathon with the RUN FOR AUTISM team. It was an incredible experience — the race, the city, and especially the people behind the organization.
I’m excited to say I’m doing it again in 2026.
I’m running to support the Organization for Autism Research, a group I really believe in. I love that their work is practical and focused on helping autistic people, families, schools, and communities in ways that matter day to day.
This time, I’m raising $4,000.
Running a marathon is a real commitment, but doing it with this team makes the training and the miles feel much bigger than just the race. Every donation helps support OAR’s research, resources, scholarships, and programs for the autism community.
A few examples of the impact:
$25 helps provide safety guides to families and first responders. $100 provides peer education resources to an entire elementary or middle school. $1,000 helps fund a graduate student research grant. $3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
I loved being part of this team in 2022, and I’m grateful for the chance to run with them again.
I’d really appreciate your support — whether that’s donating, sharing the page, or just cheering me on along the way.
