Hi friends and family!

I'm proud to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Organization for Autism Research (OAR)!

This cause has long been important to me. Through Best Buddies, I had the privilege of forming meaningful friendships with many incredible individuals on the autism spectrum.

I'd like to dedicate this run to two people I deeply admire:

- My cousin, Alex Whittle, inspires everyone who knows him with his kindness, curiosity, and passion for animals, environmental conservation, and travel. Thoughtful and compassionate, Alex is someone I'm incredibly proud to call family - and his accomplishments, including being the 2013 Greenport High School Valedictorian, reflect the remarkable person he is.

- My "brother from another," Alex Mautarelli, is one of the most loyal and genuine people I know. His infectious sense of humor, positive outlook, and commitment to bringing friends together through our annual "Brounions" have had a lasting impact on so many of us.

I'm honored to run this marathon in celebration of people like Alex and Alex and in support of OAR's mission to apply research to the challenges of autism.

If you're able, please consider making a donation or sharing this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps advance this important work.

Thank you for your support!

WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is dedicated to improving the lives of autistic individuals, their families, and supporters by funding practical research and providing valuable resources. Since its founding in 2001, OAR has awarded millions in research grants, supported autistic students through scholarships, and delivered free, evidence-based resources to the autism community.

OAR’s mission is rooted in promoting understanding, acceptance, and meaningful opportunities for autistic people at all stages of life. We focus on work that answers real-world questions, translates findings into usable tools, and helps schools, communities, and families put knowledge into action.
