WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?
1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. Please help me support autism research by joining my fundraising team, Team AMEN, for the Active for Autism 5K. The in-person 5K and Kids Dash is April 13th in Alexandria, VA. (Virtual registration has already closed.) Please consider joining this fun event in-person if you live in the DMV area or making a contribution and sharing this page with your family and friends.

All proceeds will go to OAR’s new Changing Lives Fund and will be used solely for direct research and programs support. Our goal is to raise $80,000, enough to help fund two research studies. Any funds raised over $80,000 will go to support OAR’s mission to apply research to the challenges of autism and help people and their families today.
