Strange and stressful! Those are the words that Cheryl and I have used a lot in the past 6 months. So, as I send out this request for your support once again, we recognize that this is not a normal time for anyone. I have struggled with even asking this year as evident by this delayed request, but the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is pressing on with their research efforts even in the midst of this Pandemic.

The Pandemic has caused the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) and MCM 10K to become a virtual event. This virtual event “run window” opens the first of October and closes on the tenth of November. I am shooting to complete my 10K run around mid-October. As always, I am running to raise awareness of Autism and funds for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR).

My goal is to raise at least $5,000 with all the proceeds going to OAR. OAR is a national non-profit organization that funds research and resources for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families.
