After participating in marathons around the world, I wanted to find a way to give my running purpose and impact beyond just self-accomplishments. I wanted to partner with an organization that works to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it. That's where the Organization for Autism Research comes in.

1 in 54 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with autism, some early in life and some much later. With your donation, you will be supporting a broad community through OAR’s mission. They help to fund research and create resources that help people with autism and their families across all ages and spectrum types.

Your donation will be used to help teachers work with spectrum children, engage with first responders to ensure safe care, assist in life-long support for job training and hiring resources, and will fund research grants and scholarships at top colleges.

The contributions you make are meaningful to me and my family. It will provide the positive thoughts to carry me through the long training days, and on race day, knowing that we are affecting positive change in the world together.
