RUN FOR AUTISM

You know me. I wouldn't ask if I didn't believe in the cause. I hope you will consider contributing to the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) as it supports autistic people, the families of autistic people, and vital scientific research into autism.

Ok. I'm not running the whole Marine Corps Marathon. There. I've said it. But I am doing the MCM RUN FOR AUTISM 10K to raise money for OAR and I need your help.

WHY I'M RUNNING FOR AUTISM?
Autism is a complex neurological condition that differently. Today, 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism, and the prevalence of autism has been increasing in recent years, making it more important than ever to invest in OAR's research.

Here are some of the ways that OAR will use the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box for general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$40,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.

So, please be a champion of autism research and support my RUN FOR AUTISM today.
