Hello!! My name is Hunter, I’m 4 years old, and I’m Autistic! I go to school at DCIU in Aston and I love my teachers and friends there! Some of my favorite activities include, running, swimming, and jiujitsu with my dad.

Hunter was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2.5 years old and our world was turned upside down. We were scared of the unknown, how to go about this new life, and didn’t know where to start. I’m thankful for our amazing family and friends who’ve supported us through it all! Our journey is still only beginning but we are so excited to see where it leads us!!

This year will be our first walk for Hunter! We are eager to help fund research to help our other family’s and people on the spectrum!


This year we will be joining Team Michael’s 5k walk/run at Garnet Valley High School!

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$40,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
