Please help me support Organization for Autism Research by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Organization for Autism Research's great cause!

1 in 44 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. By joining the RUN FOR AUTISM team, you’re supporting OAR’s mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and their families today.

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$30,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.

With one week to race day, I couldn't be more grateful for everyone's support. I've been recovering from an injury over the past few weeks, and with the help of fellow runners and some physical therapy, I'm feeling ready to race! Many many thanks to all who have been along for the ride and donated to this cause!

Less than one month to race day and I can't thank everyone enough. I reached a huge milestone last week - 20 miles - and your constant support means so much throughout each and every mile. Feeling the love, y'all! Thank you!!

I'm exactly two months to race day and I am overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and support in both my training and fundraising. I wouldn't be able to do this without any of you - thank you so much!

My fam - It's been a rough couple years for everyone, but especially those folks with disabilities. I'm choosing to run for OAR because of the holistic support they provide for not only research, but resources for educators and families that work with kids, students, and adults with autism every day. Appreciate your support!
