I wanted to raise awareness by keeping others informed about Autism Spectrum Disorder, and create a fundraiser team (Team Aurora) to continue research. I will be running the Active for Autism Virtual 5K on July 4th around my neighborhood. I will actually run 4 miles instead of 3.107 for every year Aurora has blessed us in this world! I invite all of you to join Team Aurora and run with me on the 4th!

All proceeds from the Active for Autism Virtual 5K will go to OAR’s new Changing Lives Fund and will be used solely for direct research and programs support. In November, OAR will allocate the available funds to support one of OAR’s new research studies. Our goal is to raise $40,000, enough to fully fund one research study.  Any funds raised over $40,000 will go to support OAR’s mission to apply research to the challenges of autism.
