For the third time, I have the privilege of running not just toward a finish line, but for a cause that has found a special place in my heart. After completing the 2025 Berlin Marathon as part of the Run for Autism Charity Team, and the 2026 Chicago Marathon this Oct 11, 2026, I realize that crossing the finish line IS NOT the end of the journey—these were merely beginnings. By March 11, 2027, I will be lining up at the 2027 Tokyo Marathon - as my 10th marathon - once again running alongside the hopes, dreams, and stories of individuals and families whose lives continue to be touched by autism.
Running has been one of life's greatest blessings as it has taught me resilience and gratitude for what my body can do, humility in recognizing that the ability to run is a privilege, as not everyone has the opportunity to experience it. Therefore, why run for myself when I can run for something more massive and impactful?
Tokyo is NOT just another marathon or addition to this collection. I see it as ANOTHER chance to turn every mile into something meaningful and this is to help raise awareness, foster acceptance, and support programs that make a real difference in the lives of the autism community.
If my running journey has ever inspired you, I would be deeply grateful if you would join and rally with me once again for this cause. Whether you choose to make a donation, share this page with others, or simply cheer me on from wherever you are in the world, you'll be part of every step I take through the streets of Tokyo.
Together, we can transform the simple act of running into something far more meaningful—creating hope, opening doors, and helping build a more inclusive world. Thank you for believing in this journey and for allowing me the privilege to RUN WITH PURPOSE once again. Every message of encouragement, every shared post, and every contribution reminds me that while I may be running the marathon, none of us changes lives alone. #RunningwithPurpose
