This cause is deeply personal to me. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s, and my daughter has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Today, approximately 1 in 31 children in the United States are identified as being on the autism spectrum—and that number doesn’t include the many children who go without the resources or access needed for a diagnosis.

Autism awareness, research, and advocacy aren’t just important topics in my life—they’re part of who I am and the journey my family walks every single day.

I’m honored to be running the Walt Disney World Marathon as part of the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) team. This event brings together two of my greatest passions: running and raising awareness for autism. Every mile I run represents hope, progress, and a step forward for families like mine—toward greater understanding, acceptance, and support for all those affected by autism.

Your donation directly supports OAR’s mission to fund life-changing research, provide practical resources for families, and promote education that builds a more inclusive world. Your support truly means the world to me, my family, and countless others walking a similar path.

Thank you for helping us move toward a future filled with more awareness, compassion, and possibility. 💙
