In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon as part of the Run for Autism team to support the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) — and I’ll be running in honor of my joyful nephew, Sullivan (“Sully”).
Sully is an autistic child who requires the highest levels of support to stay safe and healthy. He experiences the world in a way that most of us can’t fully understand — yet every day, he reminds us of the purest forms of joy, love, and resilience. His smile lights up our family. His courage challenges us to see the world with more compassion. And his journey is a daily reminder of why research, understanding, and inclusion matter so deeply.
When I run, I’ll be thinking about Sully — and about every child, adult, and family navigating the challenges and triumphs of autism. The miles will be long, but the cause is greater than any finish line.
Funds raised through Run for Autism directly support OAR’s mission: applying research to practical answers that improve the lives of people with autism and their families. From educational programs to evidence-based resources, OAR’s work helps create a world where every person with autism can live fully and confidently.
Running the London Marathon is my personal challenge — but it’s also my way to honor Sully and to help build a more inclusive future for all those like him!
If you can, please consider donating or sharing my page. Every contribution brings us closer to understanding, acceptance, and opportunity for individuals with autism everywhere.
For Sully. For understanding. For love without limits.
