Corre conmigo por el autismo

Este año correré el Maratón de Chicago 2026 como parte del equipo de Run for Autism.

Y esta vez, cada paso tendrá un significado aún más profundo para mí.

Soy mamá de dos niñas gemelas dentro del espectro y ellas, junto con su hermano mayor, son mi mayor motivación. A través de ellos he aprendido sobre resiliencia, empatía y la importancia de seguir creando un mundo más inclusivo.

Durante muchos años el running ha sido mi terapia, mi apoyo y mi lugar seguro. Me ha ayudado a liberar cargas, procesar días difíciles y encontrar claridad cuando más lo he necesitado.

Ahora, eso que por tanto tiempo me ha ayudado, se convierte en algo mucho más grande.

Como parte de este reto me he comprometido a recaudar un mínimo de $2,500 para apoyar a Run for Autism y a los servicios y apoyo que brindan a la comunidad y a tantas familias que recorremos este camino.

Cada aportación, sin importar la cantidad, ayuda a brindar apoyo, oportunidades y esperanza.

Run with Me for Autism

This year, I will be running the Chicago Marathon 2026 as part of the Run for Autism team.

And this time, every step will carry an even deeper meaning for me.

I am the mother of twin girls on the autism spectrum, and together with their older brother, they are my greatest motivation. Through them, I have learned about resilience, empathy, and the importance of continuing to create a more inclusive world.

For many years, running has been my therapy, my support, and my safe place. It has helped me release burdens, process difficult days, and find clarity when I have needed it most.

Now, something that has helped me for so long is becoming something much bigger.

As part of this journey, I have committed to raising a minimum of $2,500 to support Run for Autism and the services and support they provide to the community and to so many families walking this path.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps provide support, opportunities, and hope.
