I’m running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to support the Organization for Autism Research and the autism community—a cause very close to my heart.
As a special education teacher, my amazing students—some with autism and some without—inspire me every day to advocate for understanding and acceptance. Running with OAR gives me a chance to honor my students while supporting research and resources that make a real difference. 1 in 31 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. Every dollar raised helps OAR provide support to individuals with autism and their families.
This isn’t just about crossing a finish line — it’s about celebrating neurodiversity, honoring my students & the students in my district, and helping create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Please consider donating or sharing my fundraiser to help me make an impact!
