I’m running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to support the Organization for Autism Research and the autism community, which is a cause very close to my heart.

As a special education teacher, my students, some with autism and some without, inspire me every day to promote understanding and acceptance. Running with OAR lets me honor them while supporting important research and resources that make a real difference. 1 in 31 children in the United States is diagnosed with autism, and every donation helps OAR support individuals and families in meaningful ways.
