When Milo was diagnosed before he was 3, the world stopped. Both being teachers, Shelby and I used the resources to find him great support, and he continues to do OT regularly. Milo is in 1st grade now, has an amazing teacher, stellar grades, has received awards at school this year, and is a great big brother (most days). We will continue to run for our son in all races to show him that anyone can do hard things.

THIS WILL BE SHELBY'S FIRST MARATHON! After watching me cross the finish line in Chicago the first time, she was inspired to run for an autism charity as well. We will be running this race side-by-side as we celebrate to inspire our young boys, and celebrate a milestone accomplishment in Shelby's running! $25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$50,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
