Welcome to Caroline's NYC Marathon Fundraiser Page for Autism Research!
Hi everyone! I'm running the NYC marathon this year to support the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) in honor of my older brother, Kevin, who has autism. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I'm hoping to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
Kevin is an inspiration to everyone he meets and has this incredible ability to brighten any room he enters. His infectious laugh and constant optimism add light to the lives of everyone he encounters. He consistently inspires me to work harder and appreciate the little things in life.
Growing up with Kevin, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with autism. His journey has shown me the importance of research, understanding, and support for individuals on the spectrum and their families. That's why I'm lacing up my running shoes and going the distance for Kevin and the millions of others affected by autism.
By supporting this run, contributors are directly helping OAR's mission to fund crucial research and provide valuable resources that make a tangible difference in the autism community.
Contributions, no matter the size, can have a significant impact:
- $10 can provide educational materials to help teachers better support students with autism - $25 can supply safety guides to 15 families and first responders - $100 can fund peer education resources for an entire school - $3,000 can provide a life-changing college scholarship for a student with autism
I'm committed to crossing the finish line, but I can't reach my fundraising goal alone. Donations to support this run and OAR's incredible work are greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts and will go directly towards improving the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
For those unable to donate, sharing this page would be equally valuable. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive world for people like Kevin and all those on the autism spectrum.
Thank you for joining me on this meaningful journey!
