🌺🏃‍♂️ Aloha, friends! 🏃‍♀️🌺

This December, I’ll be running the Honolulu Marathon—26.2 miles of sweat, sunshine, and probably a lot of sunscreen! But this race isn’t just about me crossing the finish line—it’s about making a real difference.

I’m running to raise money for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), a group that funds life-changing research, resources, and programs to support individuals with autism and their families. Every mile I run (and every blister I earn 😅) is dedicated to helping create a future full of understanding, acceptance, and opportunity.

Here’s where you come in: I’d love for you to join me on this journey by donating. Think of it this way:

$10 = a motivational cheer at Mile 5 🎉

$26.20 = one dollar for every marathon mile 💪

$50 = “please remind me why I signed up for this again?” 🤔

$100+ = hero status, guaranteed bragging rights 🦸

No matter the amount, your support will keep me moving when the finish line feels a million miles away—and, more importantly, it will directly impact families who need it most.

Let’s make every step count together. 🏅

WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?
1 in 31 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. By joining the RUN FOR AUTISM team, you’re supporting OAR’s mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and their families today.

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$50,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
