Why I'm running. Help me reach my goal!

I have a cousin who is autistic who's just a little bit older than me, a High school friend who I grew up with who now has 5 kids, with twins, and one of the twins is on the spectrum, I have a family friend (my sister) whose son is also autistic. He really loves the alphabet and keeping them in ABC order!

I feel that people with autism are the Guardians of the present moment, acting upon feeling and emotions good or bad and with that comes more patience, understanding and level of parenting that I can only admire. It is our responsibility to protect and help guide these souls to a fulfilling fruitful life.

They have such a super power of innocence. They have a different way of filtering and absorbing information, and we must help give them all the tools we can to help.
I’ve always wanted to support any way I could. And this opportunity to run and raise money for this cause, which I feel more connected to and feels special.

And for the parents the love, the patience, perseverance, the ability to maneuver through the ups and downs, to protect, provide and fight for your kids best outcome in this marathon of life. I run for you too.
