Hi! My name is Shea, and this is my third Chicago Marathon! I started running in 2013 when I trained to run my first Chicago Marathon, and I haven't stopped since. I truly have fallen in love with the sport of running, always finding new challenges and ways to improve.
The Chicago Marathon is truly a special one. The course is unique and stunning; the crowds are motivating; and the number of runners that come out to do their best is inspiring!
I chose the Organization for Autism Research because working in the field of education has given me a direct insight into the effects that autism can have on a student, a family, and a school.
1 in 31 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. And your donation can support OAR's mission to fund research and resources that can help so many people impacted in some way by autism.
No donation is too small! Truly, $10 will make a difference. Thank you!
