In 2016, I laced up my running shoes for the first time, embarking on a journey that has since become a cornerstone of my life. What started as a simple act of running blossomed into an unwavering passion, deeply rooted in my heart. My commitment to this sport was cemented in September 2017, with the exhilarating rush of completing my first 5k. Since then, the roads have seen me through numerous 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, and the triumphant finish lines of eight full marathons. Next October 2025,I am setting out on a run that means more to me than any race I've ever run: the Chicago Marathon. But this time, it's about more than just the run. It's a heartfelt mission, as I'll be running to support the Organization for Autism Research (OAR). This cause is incredibly dear to me, especially since my beautiful daughter Ayali was diagnosed with Autism in August 2023. Every stride I take in the Chicago Marathon will be in honor of Ayali, whose courage and love light up my life. I invite you to be a part of this journey with me. By supporting my fundraiser, you're not just backing my marathon run; you're uplifting the vital work of OAR and touching the lives of many. I also extend a special invitation: if autism has touched you or someone you know, allow me to dedicate a mile of my marathon to you or them. I’m collecting 25 names for this heartfelt tribute, with the final, most meaningful 26.2 mile dedicated to my daughter Ayali. Your support, whether through a donation, a name for a mile, or simply sharing my story, means the world to me. Together, let's make each step a symbol of hope, strength, and love. Let's run this race for Ayali and for every life touched by autism.
