Autism became deeply personal to me two years ago, and it has shaped the way I view the world. While I’ve been running for years, I’ve decided it’s time to run for something that truly matters—to support a cause that is close to my heart.
My nephew, Eldon, was diagnosed with autism at 2.5 years old. Now 4, he is non-speaking but communicates beautifully using his AAC device. Watching him navigate the world with such determination and creativity inspires me every day. His colorful world is a reminder that love doesn’t need words—it needs understanding and support.
This fundraiser is my way of giving back to the autism community and ensuring resources and support are available for families like ours. Your donation won’t just fund research; it will provide essential tools and resources that make a real difference in the lives of autistic individuals.
Please consider donating to my run and taking one more step toward creating a world of acceptance, understanding, and opportunity. Let’s run together for Eldon and for every child who deserves to shine.
