Hi everyone!

On Sunday, November 3rd I will be running in the New York City Marathon. As part of my requirements to race, I selected the Organization for Autism Research to fundraise for as I closely align with the mission and values of this organization.

I was first inspired to run the Marathon by my dad, who managed to complete 10 marathons over the course of his life. He also spent a great deal of his life involved in the fight for social justice and equality which also partially inspired my career path.

I am currently a Behavior Therapist working predominantly with children on the autism spectrum both in school and in home settings. I work with my clients to reduce interfering behaviors that act as barriers in their lives and increase skills in areas that allow them to live life in more meaningful ways. I have been working closely with children with special needs for almost 10 years now and find great joy in being able to support and uplift them to the best of my ability.

Please help me by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Organization for Autism Research's great cause!

WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?
1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. By joining the RUN FOR AUTISM team, you’re supporting OAR’s mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and their families today.

Your money may go towards curriculum building for education teachers and schools, research grants for graduate level study, and even university scholarships for children with autism.
