Please help me support Organization for Autism Research by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Organization for Autism Research's great cause!

I am beyond excited to announce that I have been selected to run the 2024 TCS London Marathon with the Run for Autism Team! I am grateful to start my fundraising efforts in support of the Organization for Autism Research (OAR)’s mission to fund research and resources that help people with autism and their families.

While this isn’t my first marathon, it has always been a dream of mine to go to the UK. If I’m going to go overseas for the first time, why not run while I’m there? Completing the London Marathon will get me my second Abbott World Marathon Major Star (there are six) and an experience of a lifetime. I’m so appreciative to have a chance to raise money for such a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I will be running this race for my son Sam who was diagnosed with Autism back in 2016 and boy, has he come a long way! What I love about him: he is talented, bright, and has an amazing memory! While my original hopes and dreams for him have changed, ultimately the big one has not. My goal for him is to be the best person he can be. Stay tuned to this page as I update you on my progress over the next few months. Go big or go home!

I want to encourage you to learn more about the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) and how they help autistic children and families: researchautism.org.

Your donation will help build acceptance, fund research, provide resources, and support the autism community to live better lives. Please consider donating today and help me cross the finish line in 2024!

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

WHY RUN FOR AUTISM?
1 in 68 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. By joining the RUN FOR AUTISM team, you're supporting OAR's mission to fund resources that help people with autism and their families today.

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$30,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
