I’m running the 2024 London marathon to raise money for the Organization for Autism Research (“OAR”), a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with autism and their families. Please consider making a donation to help me reach my goal of raising $5500 for OAR!

Making a Difference

1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. OAR is making a difference in the lives of both children and adults with autism by providing free resources and funding practical research to address the challenges that those with autism face every day.

For example, since 2002, OAR has:
*Funded over $4.7 million in support of practical research.
*Awarded over $1.5 million in scholarships to students with autism.
*Introduced the “Kit for Kids” peer education program to foster understanding and acceptance among peers of children with autism.

Putting your $$ to Work

OAR has a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Here are some of the programs your donations will help support:
*$25 provides 15 copies of “A Guide to Safety” to families and first responders.
*$100 provides the “Kit for Kids” resource to an entire school.
*$150 provides 100 copies of a “Life Journey through Autism" to community support groups.
*$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
*$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
*$30,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
