In every child with autism, I see a world of limitless potential, waiting to be unlocked. As a parent of a beautiful child with autism and special needs, I intimately understand the unique challenges and joys that come with this journey. Today, I'm reaching out with all my heart, asking for your support as I run for autism in partnership with OAR's mission.

OAR (Organization for Autism Research) is dedicated to funding research and providing resources that directly impact people with autism and their families today. Autism is a puzzle we are still piecing together, and your contributions to OAR will help us find those missing pieces. Together, we can drive vital research that offers hope and solutions. Let's create a world where every child with autism can shine, a world where they are embraced for their incredible uniqueness.

Please join me in this emotional journey. Your support will not only touch my heart but will also make a profound difference in the lives of countless families like mine. Together, let's run for autism, run for love, and run towards a future where all our children can thrive and be celebrated for the remarkable individuals they are.

Here are some of the ways that OAR uses the funds raised by the RUN FOR AUTISM team:

$10 provides a Curriculum in a Box professional development set to general education teachers.
$25 provides 15 copies of A Guide to Safety to families and first responders.
$100 provides the Kit for Kids peer education resource to an entire elementary or middle school.
$150 provides 100 copies of a Life Journey through Autism guidebook sent to a community support group or military installation.
$1,000 provides a research grant for a graduate student studying autism.
$3,000 provides a scholarship for a student with autism to attend college.
$40,000 fully underwrites an applied research pilot study.
