I run for a lot of reasons - physical health, mental health, community, & even some healthy competition. But now I’m excited to run for a uniquely different reason. I will be running the Chicago Marathon next October and dedicating it to my kind, loving, and determined brother - Nick Glogoza. As an educator, I also will be running for the incredible students I have taught and am currently teaching on the Autism Spectrum. Each are wonderfully different from one another but can be binded by a complex yet beautiful trait labeled as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). To support these individuals and so many more, I will be raising money for an incredible organization called the Organization for Autism Research (OAR). OAR helps to support communities at a local and national level in the pathway for autism research. Below is a link where I’ll be tracking donations raised for the next 10 months and would profoundly appreciate any support possible. Whether that be donating money yourself, sharing this link with friends & family, or spreading the word about the work of Organization for Autism Research, it will indeed mean the world to many.
