I first started my journey to learn more about autism through my school club called Peer Buddies and as students, we worked with the children with autism to complete many different tasks but most importantly we help them get exercise. I am also a coach for a program called Spirit Cheer this program helps children with autism get in involved in their communities. I have decided to start this running team to further my learning about autism and raise awareness for it through exercise. I think it is a great way for children with Autism to get exercise and get out of the house during this unfortunate time.
